Anything that can be done through the console is fair game. Talking about cheats built into the game is alright. If you're playing as Egypt/Turks sometimes the names are full of hyphens and pretty much impossible to enter. If its an assassin or spy, better write his name down beforehand because they'll always get the 'clever' and 'killer' suffixes eventually.
If this general has been adopted or is a relative of the King, you can look in the family tree and see the last name of his children/parents to find out what the bugger's name is. Warning: If your general or agent is given a lame suffix such as Jimmy 'the Saint' you still have to enter his original name into the console to reset his movement. If your general is just 'Richard' or 'George' you don't need any quotation marks. Just remember an underscore always goes between the 'of' and the place he's from. If your general's name is Hank of Fredtown, you have to type 'Hank of_Fredtown'. If your general is named Dustin McMarty, you enter 'Dustin McMarty'. hit ~ for the console, and type the following.
I don't know what a trainer is, but I know paying 20 bucks for something you can do for free is pretty useless.
